Chickpea Flour Brownies [Gluten-Free, Grain-Free, Dairy-Free, Refined Sugar-Free, Nut-Free and with Vegan Option]

These addictive dairy-free and refined sugar-free fudgy Chickpea Flour Brownies are super chocolaty and can easily be made vegan.

Chickpea Flour Brownies
Since the weather cooled down a bit this weekend, I was able to bake LOTS of yummy treats…including these super fudgy Chickpea Flour Brownies.

Chickpea Flour Brownies
Now, I have to tell you, I am seriously developing a thing for chickpea flour. It is such an amazing alternative flour, not only for baking, but for cooking too. Iโ€™ve used it in a bunch of dishes so far. In fact, I used it to replace the wheat flour in my dadโ€™s homemade manicotti recipe (hoping to feature that soon on my sister blog, Watch Learn Eat).

Chickpea Flour Brownies
Of course, I also love using it in cookies like I did in my Chickpea Flour Chocolate Chip Cookies. Hint. Hint. There will be some more chickpea flour recipes coming in the near future so be on the lookout. ๐Ÿ˜‰

But letโ€™s get back to these brownies. So, I have to let you in a little secret. What? You thought my chickpea flour romance was the secret? No way! My husband already knows about my chickpea fascination so the flour was a natural progression.

Chickpea Flour Brownies
The secret is that these brownies contain a very healthy hidden ingredient…pumpkin. Yes, pumpkin. Itโ€™s not just for pie…or Thanksgiving. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks to the local grocer and the invention of canning, pumpkin can be enjoyed any time of year…even in the summer.

Not only does it add a slew of nutrients, such as fiber, vitamin A, vitamin C, iron, protein and more to these brownies, but it also helps to keep them moist.

Three cheers for pumpkin! Yay!

And if thatโ€™s not enough, these Chickpea Flour Brownies require one bowl, no not two, just one bowl to make them.

So letโ€™s recap. These brownies are:

  • made with GLUTEN-FREE and GRAIN-FREE chickpea flour
  • super moist, CHOCOLATY and FUDGY
  • can be made in one bowl
  • and just happen to be nutritious.

These Chickpea Flour Brownies are also DAIRY-FREE, REFINED SUGAR-FREE and NUT-FREE. And, there’s also a VEGAN option!

These look and sound like miracle brownies! I’m dairy-free and we have been trying to go refined-sugar free when we can. These would be a yummy and healthy treat to make for our family movie nights!

These look oh-so-chewy and gooey! I’ve made brownies with black beans before and they were awesome, so I totally trust these are no different. We can almost call them healthy, right? ๐Ÿ˜‰
